ISX Holiday Schedules

The ISX website earlier this year 2023, put out a market News Post publishing the holiday schedule for 2023. That post was incomplete of any actual data (reasons and dates), that is if you looked at the "English" web site. However if you switch the page view to Arabic, and refresh you will see the appropriate PDF files do then appear.

Official Holidays of Republic of Iraq 2023, Iraq Stock Exchange will not organize
the trading sessions for these days:

1- Every Friday and Sunday is formal Holiday. (ISX OPERATOR ERROR)
2- New Year's Day on Sunday 1/1/2023.
3- The Army Day on Friday 6/1/2023.
4- Nowruz Day on Tuesday 21/3/2023.
5- Eid Al- Fatter on (22-24/4/2023).
6- The World Labor Day on Monday 1/5/2023.
7- Eid Al-Adha on (29/6 -2/7/2023).
8- The Iraq National day on Friday 14/7/2023.
9- The Islamic new year Wednesday 19/7/2023.
10- The Tenth of Muharam Friday 28/7/2023.
11- The prophet of Mohammed Birthday Wednesday 27/9/2023.
12- The Victory day on Sunday 10/12/2023.
13- Christmas on Monday 25/12/2023.

And if there`s any sudden holiday in future we will let you know ASAP.

They have also separately made single Market News Posts throughout this year 2023, in a few days advance as each holiday approached.

So this coming year end holiday schedule for 2023 is TBD at the moment, as they usually shut down for a full week between Christmas and New Year Day Holiday, I believe.

Additionally its safe to say they will mirror what ever the CBI is gonna do as well. (blame it on Aladdin's Magic Carpet Day Parade maybe)

I assume then it will be similar to what we saw last year 2022 as seen below.
